Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe (; born February 6, 1993), known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, record producer, and actress. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Tinashe moved to Los Angeles as a child to pursue a career in entertainment. Her notable roles included as a motion-capture model in the animated film The Polar Express (2004), Robin Wheeler in the Cartoon Network television series Out of Jimmy's Head (2007–2008), and a recurring role in the CBS series Two and a Half Men (2008–2009). Between 2007 and 2011, Tinashe was a member of the girl group the Stunners. Following their disbandment, she released the positively-reviewed self-recorded mixtapes In Case We Die (2012) and Reverie (2012). Following their success, Tinashe signed with RCA Records and released her third mixtape, Black Water (2013). Her debut single, "2 On" (featuring Schoolboy Q; produced by Mustard), reached number one on the Rhythmic airplay chart, and peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut studio album, Aquarius (2014), was noted by music critics as one of the most “solid” debuts by a new female artist in years. The album garnered her nominations for Soul Train and BET Awards. Her collaboration with Snakehips and Chance the Rapper, "All My Friends", won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song in 2016.

Aquarius is the debut studio album and fourth overall project by American singer Tinashe, released on October 3, 2014, by RCA Records. In 2011, after the disbandment of the girl group The Stunners, Tinashe announced that she would begin pursuing a solo career. The following year she released her debut mixtape In Case We Die. After raising her profile with the mixtape, Tinashe met with RCA Records where she subsequently signed a recording contract. Following her signing a record deal, Tinashe immediately began working on the album. During the recording process for the debut album, she released two other mixtapes, Reverie (2012) and Black Water (2013). Aquarius was titled after Tinashe's zodiac sign. The album incorporates several genres including R&B, alternative R&B, and pop. The album's production was characterized as being synthetic, with atmospherics and minimalist beats and electronics. The album's composition drew comparisons to a variety of artists including The Weeknd and Aaliyah.

Black Water (Tinashe album)

Black Water is the third mixtape by American recording artist Tinashe, first released on November 26, 2013 via INgrooves and her official website. The mixtape was released after the release of her second mixtape Reverie and also being signed to RCA prior to releasing the mixtape. As executive producer, Tinashe enlisted a variety of musical producers to work with her on the mixtape, including Boi-1da, Best Kept Secret, Dev Hynes, Frank Dukes, Gabriel Lambrith, !llmind, Inc, J. Oliver, K-BeatZ, Karon Graham, Misfitz Sounds, Osinachi, Ryan Hemsworth, Vinylz, besides being executive producer of the mixtape Tinashe also wrote all of the mixtapes songs. Musically, Black Water doesn't stray far from the same PBR&B and alternative hip hop sound that In Case We Die included, the mixtape also touches on several new genres such as electronica and neo soul. The mixtape was preceded by the release of the lead single "Vulnerable" which was released on November 20, 2013. Black Water received positive reviews from music critics who stated she "has the most promising voices of the new generation of alt-R&B starlets," with some critics calling it "highly anticipated" and "must listen" and praised Tinashe's vocal growth. Other critics compared the mixtape to that of Janet Jackson, TLC and Aaliyah. Much like Reverie, the tape reached the top spot on DatPiff. The mixtape has been certified Silver with 75,000 downloads & has over 300,000 views.

Joyride (Tinashe album)

Joyride is the third studio album and seventh overall project by American singer Tinashe. It was released through RCA Records on April 13, 2018. The album features guest appearances from Offset, Ty Dolla Sign, French Montana, Little Dragon, and Future. The album also features production by Stargate, Dre Moon, Hit-Boy, T-Minus, and others.The album received generally positive reviews from music critics, most of whom praised the album's composition and themes; however, some criticized it for it not being cohesive like Tinashe's previous studio albums. The album debuted at number 58 on the US Billboard 200, selling 9,800 album-equivalent units, of which 4,710 came from pure sales.The album was supported by three singles: "No Drama" featuring Offset, "Faded Love" featuring Future, and "Me So Bad" featuring French Montana and Ty Dolla Sign.

Reverie is the second mixtape by American recording artist Tinashe, first released September 6, 2012 via her official website. The mixtape followed the release of her debut mixtape In Case We Die which came after a four-year stint as lead singer of dance-pop group The Stunners and her array of non-album singles, including a collaboration with producers OFM, "Artificial People", in 2011. As executive producer, Tinashe enlisted a variety of musical producers to work with her on the mixtape, including Wes Tarte, BMarz the Producer , Nez & Rio, Best Kept Secret, B. Hendrixx, Troobadore, K-BeatZ, Daughter, XXYYXX, Roc & Mayne, and JRB The Producer. Besides being executive producer of the mixtape, Tinashe also wrote all of the mixtape's songs. Musically, Reverie doesn't stray far from the same PBR&B and alternative hip hop sound that In Case We Die included, though the mixtape also touches on several new genres such as electronica, glitch hop, indie pop, post-dubstep and alternative rock. The mixtape was preceded by the release of the lead single "Stargazing" which was released on August 21, 2012. "Stargazing" became the number one must-hear song on MTV "Buzzworthy" on August 28, 2012. The second single "Ecstasy" was released on December 18, 2012, and the music video for the final single from the mixtape, "Who Am I Working For?", was released on March 12, 2013. The album's title track was used during a scene of the American television program Love & Hip Hop.Reverie received positive reviews from music critics, who complimented the mixtape's "spacey beats and Middle Eastern influences", with some critics calling it "highly anticipated" and "must listen" and praising Tinashe's vocals. Tinashe Mhora

Tinashe Gerald Mhora (born 1 August 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who has played domestically for Westerns and the Matabeleland Tuskers. From Bulawayo, Mhora played two Twenty20 matches for Westerns during the 2009 Metropolitan Bank Twenty20 competition. He scored five runs against Northerns and six against Easterns, coming in low in the batting order in both matches. Later in the 2009 season, Mhora made his debut for the Zimbabwean national under-19 side. He scored two ducks in two One Day Internationals (ODIs) against the Pakistan under-19s in 2009, He went on to tour Bangladesh with the team the following month, playing in another under-19 ODI, and in July 2010 played two ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against the South African under-19s.After Zimbabwean domestic cricket was reorganised for the 2009–10 season, Mhora was assigned to the new Matabeleland Tuskers franchise, based in Bulawayo. He became a regular in the team's reserves side during the following season, playing three-day, one-day, and Twenty20 matches in Franchise B tournaments. Mhora broke through to the Tuskers' senior side for two limited overs matches during the 2010–11 season, both played at the Queens Sports Club. He scored three runs on debut against the Mountaineers in September 2010, opening the batting with captain Gavin Ewing, and then made 23 from 25 balls the following month against the Southern Rocks, coming in third in the batting order. Mhora is yet to play any further matches for the franchise.

American singer-songwriter Tinashe has released five studio albums, four mixtapes, one extended play and thirteen singles, including seventeen as featured artist. Tinashe's debut album, Aquarius, was released on October 7, 2014. It debuted in the top twenty on the Billboard 200, and peaked within the top ten of the US, UK and Australian urban albums charts. Aquarius was supported by three singles. The lead single from the album was titled "2 On", and featured rapper ScHoolboy Q. "2 On" peaked at 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the US rhythmic chart. "2 On" also reached the top 30 in Australia, and entered the charts in Canada, France and the UK. "2 On" was later certified platinum in the US by the RIAA and in Australia by the ARIA. The second single from Aquarius was titled "Pretend", which featured rapper ASAP Rocky. "Pretend" failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100, but appeared at number 36 on the UK R&B Singles Chart. The third single from Tinashe's debut album was "All Hands on Deck", which featured an appearance from Australian rapper Iggy Azalea in a remixed version of the song. In September 2015, Tinashe announced the tentative title of second album, Joyride. Following delays of the album's release, Tinashe released the digital album Nightride in 2016.
